在政府工作報(bào)告和其他各種正式文件中常出現(xiàn)“開(kāi)展”這一詞語(yǔ)，譯成英語(yǔ)時(shí)該如何表達(dá)呢？
根據(jù)2021年12月發(fā)布的《中國(guó)的出口管制》白皮書(shū)：“開(kāi)展非政府間交流、學(xué)術(shù)研究、民間國(guó)際交往活動(dòng)”譯為“have held non-governmental exchanges, conducted academic research, and engaged in international people-to-people interactions”。由此可見(jiàn)，“開(kāi)展”一詞并非固定與英語(yǔ)的某個(gè)詞相對(duì)應(yīng)，而應(yīng)根據(jù)情況靈活選用不同的且合適的英語(yǔ)詞語(yǔ)來(lái)表達(dá)。
以下再舉幾例說(shuō)明詞語(yǔ)活用的情形。
